Apply for new Strong Foundations Grants with ActionFunder

Submissions are open until 31st October to apply for one of the eight Strong Foundations Grants set up near our project sites around the country.

Sir Robert McAlpine have launched a new Strong Foundation Grants with community engagement platform ActionFunder.

Each grant of up to £3,000 will support grassroots initiatives local to a project site which champions community empowerment, innovation, social investment and sustainable development.

Applications for the grants are now live through the ActionFunder platform and open to organisations until 31st October 2023.

The submissions will then be assessed for impact, innovation and alignment with our values by a judging panel made up of project team members and clients’ representatives, before the successful nominees receive the grants of up to £3,000.

A wide range of organisations are eligible to apply, including informal and formal community groups, local charity and local branches of national charities, schools and education organisations, not-for-profit organisations, and social enterprises.

Apply for the Strong Foundations Grants are available for communities around the Poole and Bournemouth Hospital project.

Strong Foundations Grants build on Sir Robert McAlpine’s ongoing partnership with ActionFunder, which first launched in 2021. Since then, we have funded more than 95 projects, reaching over 70,000 beneficiaries across the country.
