Our live construction sites at Poole and Bounemouth Hospitals took part in Open Doors Week 2023, an annual event that offers people a unique opportunity to learn about the construction industry and explore the exciting career prospects available with Sir Robert McAlpine and Vinci Building UK.

Open Doors Week is delivered by Build UK, the leading representative organisation for the UK construction industry. This initiative brings together construction companies and educational institutions to showcase the industry to young people and job seekers. This year's event ran from 13th - 18th March 2023 our live construction sites opened the doors to provide site tours, workshops, and talks. The site visits also offered insights into the latest technologies and innovations in the industry, as well as providing opportunities to talk to current employees and ask questions about their roles.

We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcome people from all backgrounds to explore careers in construction. We offer a range of apprenticeships, graduate schemes, and other training opportunities to help people develop their skills and progress their careers within the construction industry.
