Thanks to you and your team for delivering a good building. The job had specific challenges and the approach taken by the team was excellent.

Developed by IHP for the East London NHS Foundation Trust, although the last to be ordered, the unit was the first to be commissioned and opened.

The unit provides 10 rehabilitation beds, 10 assessment beds, a therapy gym social spaces and ancillary facilities for the care and treatment of patients with personality disorders.

As well as working closely with the Trust’s clinical team on the development of the design, we also provided an equipping service including design, supply, testing, commissioning and staff training.

Now known as the Millfields Centre, the building was named winner of the Green Organisation’s Gold Green Apple award for Environmental Best Practice and its contribution to our architectural heritage.
